As I said in last night’s updates I’m not going totally dark here for the rest of the year, but since Hanukkah just ended and it’s almost Christmas I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all Happy Holidays and to say thanks. This has been easily the most successful year this blog has had since I started working on it all the way back in 2012, and obviously that’s thanks to your regular readership and support. It’s finally starting to feel like I’m not just screaming into the void, and that’s a really gratifying feeling to have.
I want this site to become the kind of place where people can turn for news and commentary about international events and US foreign policy from a left-progressive perspective. If we’re going to continue to grow toward that goal in 2018, I’m going to need your help to do it. You’ve probably already read my pitch, but if you haven’t then I hope you’ll take the time to check it out and support the work I’m doing here, either through Patreon or PayPal.
Here’s a Christmas musical interlude for your trouble:
For those of you who are already supporting the site, thank you so much! In your case I’m asking for a different kind of support: recommend this place. To anybody you think might find it interesting. Online and in person. Follow me on Twitter and Facebook (which I promise I’ll start using more often in the 2018) and share posts. Help grow our audience so that we can make as much progress in 2018 as we made in 2017.
Again, Happy Holidays to all, Merry Christmas to those celebrating it, and Happy New Year! Thanks for reading!
